Vidant Chowan funds a scholarship each year that is open to any student majoring in a healthcare career. the money comes from my budget and the volunteers interview and select the winner. In turn, I send the money, each August, to their school of the winners choice. I have attached our application packet.

The Caldwell Memorial Hospital Auxiliary has a scholarship established also at our local community college for anyone pursuing a healthcare career is eligible for. While that can include our juniors it is not limited to them. We did it this way so that the college takes care of ALL the details - we just make our donation periodically. We also accept scholarship applications from our employees pursing an advanced degree (especially nurses). Thanks, Alice (Caldwell UNC Healthcare).

I'm not sure it is exactly what you are looking for, but we have a scholarship that we fund set-up through our community college that anyone pursuing a healthcare career is eligible for.
