Yes, this definitely helps a lot.

    Thanks so much!

    Hey Tina,

Our process is similar.  If someone does not log any volunteer hours for 6 months we automatically place them inactive.  If they remain inactive for 6 months then we terminate.  If there is communication with the volunteer and reasons for their lack of attendance are understood and they expect to return we also put them on LOA.

    Hope that helps!!

    Hey, Tina!

At Alamance Regional, if a volunteer has not served for three months, they are automatically placed on inactive status in Volgistics.  The exception is if a volunteer has communicated a health or family situation that requires them to be out for some time.  In that case, they are placed on Leave of Absence.  We touch base with them every three months, to verify their current status.

    Hope that helps!

Do any of you have an "inactive" status for your adult volunteers?

We are currently experiencing some issues with volunteers who rarely work for various reasons, yet they continue to remain on the volunteer  list.

We are working on some new guidelines that would move them to an "inactive" status if they go for a certain amount of time without any volunteer hours.  This is something that's never been done at our facility, so I'm curious to see how it is handled at other facilities.
