    Hey Kelly,

We do hand enter them by volunteer.  It is a pain but don't know any other way.  Of course if you trust them and have Volgistics you could give them online access and have them log their own hours.  I do have a few at-home volunteers who do that.

I add each outside volunteer into Volgistics like any other volunteer.  That way I will have their address and other  information when we honor volunteers for their hours of service.    My " community volunteer" sometimes logs in quite a few hours knitting baby blankets and caps.    Also every gift must be documented if it is a donation for tracking purposes.  This is  just in case we  should  ever recieve a complaint about the garment or the blanket we can track it back to the original maker.

We set up one "volunteer" in Volgistics named Community Volunteer.  When folks drop off these items, we have them fill out a form giving us their name, item(s) donated, and the number of hours.  We then enter all these hours under the Community Volunteer.  The information from the form is recorded in the notes.

    Hi All!

I am trying to figure out the easiest way to track outside volunteer hours without having to enter every volunteer.  these people knit blankets, caps, furnish bags for chemo patients, etc.  How do you track and if you track in Volgistics, how do you have them set up?  Thanks@
